The deminishing effect of globalization and consumerism on craftsmanship is undeniable, but how to counter this movement in times of mechanization without being sentimental? Instead of discrediting mass production, I combined unrelated mass produced parts with custom 3D printed connectors. They get a new function and become something else in this process.
